Types of Colleges and Universities in Florida

As far as cost goes, the big difference you want to pay attention to when choosing which school you go to is whether it is public or private. Public colleges and universities will charge about a third for tuition as the private ones. This goes for Florida residents only, though. Private schools charge the same in tuition no matter where you come from. So if you can’t prove you’re a resident, you’ll probably want to look at the reputation, rather than if it’s public or private) of the school and more specifically at the reputation of the program you’re looking to get into.
