Across the street from downtown Winter Park and on Lake Virginia, Rollins is a small but very prestigious college in Central Florida. For the last nine straight years U.S. News & World Report has ranked Rollins as the number one school in the South.

Classes at Rollins are small, even introductory classes and all classes are conducted by professors, not TAs. Students and faculty members really appreciate this and take advantage of it by incorporating relevant and open discussions into most classes.
The drama program at Rollins College is on the 2014 Fiske Guide to Colleges list of small colleges and universities strong in drama for preprofessionals.

Since Rollins is a smaller college, everyone seems to know everyone else and there is a good intermingling of students from different economic backgrounds. There are tons of out-of-state (and international) students.
Students at Rollins College are in general very motivated and hard-working.
Rollins has a very active Greek life for such a small school and there are lots of parties.
Winter Park, where Rollins is located, is just minutes north of Orlando which is famous world-wide for the activities available nearby, including theme parks and beaches. Park Aveneu, in Winter Park itself, offers excellent dining options just across the street from campus.
Rollins has a unique tradition, Fox Day, where classes are suddenly cancelled in the spring (the exact day isn’t revealed until the morning of the holiday) and students are encouraged to explore the local area. Most head to the beach for the day.
