Named after inventor Thomas Edison, one of the first people to have a winter home in Southwest Florida, Edison State College has its main campus in Fort Myers, serving residents of Lee County. There are also campuses in Charlotte and Collier Counties as well as an outreach center serving Hendry and Glades Counties.
